The machining principle of CNC honing machine:
Honing is achieved by using one or more honing stones mounted on the circumference of a honing head. An expanding mechanism (either rotary or propulsion type) expands the honing stones radially, pressing them against the workpiece's hole wall to create surface contact. Simultaneously, the honing head rotates and reciprocates while the workpiece remains stationary; or the honing head only rotates while the workpiece reciprocates, thus achieving honing.
Performance of CNC honing machine:
1. The machine tool worktable adopts an electric rotary worktable, which has fast indexing speed, high positioning accuracy, and is stable and reliable;
2. The machine tool worktable and protective door are equipped with sensors and interlock switches to prevent misoperation and ensure the safety of workers and machine tools;
3. The reciprocating motion of the spindle is controlled by hydraulic servo, and the reciprocating speed can be steplessly adjusted;
4. The machine tool cooling system is a circulating cooling system, equipped with a high-performance magnetic roller paper belt filter to perform two-stage filtration of the honing fluid, and then an oil cooler to keep the honing fluid temperature at the optimal working temperature.
Operating requirements for CNC honing machines:
1. Check the lubrication points of the honing machine, especially the gearbox, to see if there is lubricating oil;
2. Check if the coolant is clean;
3. After starting the machine, let it idle for a period of time to purge the air from the hydraulic lines and check whether each part is working properly.
4. The temperature of the hydraulic oil used in machine tools should generally not exceed 60℃, and should not exceed 65℃ at most. Otherwise, cooling measures should be taken or work should be stopped.
